The Great Muta (w/ Gary Hart) pinned Ray Lloyd with a backbreaker and the moonsault at 2:25; early in the bout, NWA TV Champion Sting and Eddie Gilbert appeared ringside; after the contest, Muta threw his opponent to the floor, with Sting and Gilbert then entering the ring and Sting facing off with Muta until Hart and Muta left the ring
Rick & Scott Steiner (w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated Mike Rotunda & Kevin Sullivan via disqualification at 5:13 when Sullivan hit Rick in the head with a chailr as the two fought outside the ring, with Rick then grabbing the chair away and chasing Sullivan with it

Rick & Scott Steiner (w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated NWA Tag Team Champions Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin via disqualification at 5:15 when Hayes, the illegal man, dropped Scott with a DDT as Scott had Garvin covered with a roll up; prior to the bout, it was announced Terry Gordy had been barred from ringside and would be fined and suspended indefinately if he appeared; after the bout, the champions double teamed Scott in the ring until Rick cleared the ring with a steel chair
The Great Muta (w/ Gary Hart) pinned Scott Hall with a German suplex into a bridge at 2:57; prior to the bout, it was announced NWA World Champion Ric Flair would face Brad Armstrong the following week; after the contest, Jim Ross conducted an interview with Hart, with Muta, regarding the ongoing feud with Sting; moments later, Terry Funk appeared, with Hart then saying he wanted Flair & Sting to face Funk & Muta in a tag team match

Terry Funk (w/ Gary Hart) pinned Lee Scott with a piledriver at the 48-second mark; during the opening moments, Scott put on Funk's cowboy hat and mocked him until Funk attacked Scott
Sid Vicious & Dan Spivey (w/ Teddy Long) defeated the Ding Dongs at the 45-second mark when Spivey scored the pin following the powerbomb; after the bout, Vicious & Spivey pulled the masks off their opponents; moments later, Norman, who appeared ringside during the match, put on one of the masks
NWA World Champion Ric Flair pinned Brad Armstrong at 6:27 with a reversal of a hiptoss into a roll up

Brian Pillman defeated NWA US Champion Lex Luger via disqualification at 3:36 when Luger brought a chair into the ring as Pillman was hung upside down in the corner; moments later, Sting made the save, repeatedly slamming Luger's face into the mat, and htiting the Stinger Splash; as Sting and Luger brawled, a female fan attempted to climb into the ring but was taken away by security; prior to the match, Pillman cut an insert promo and claimed he would take Luger's title, with Luger replying that Pillman was in his way as he moved on to Starrcade; before the opening bell, Luger attacked Pillman and threw him to the arena floor; after the match, Chris Cruise conducted a ringside interview with Sting and Pillman, with Sting promising to get revenge on Luger at Starrcade, and Pillman stating that Luger made him sick
